WE #4 CK

"Time Dies"
a poem:
I’m climbing
the stair steps of time
Edging hesitantly forward
Feet glimpsing icy notes of stone
And danger
Darkness growing
Ever swallowing
The world
Beneath my feet
I glance behind me
But there’s no returning
To the waves of moments past
The ocean of yesterday threatens
A watery death
And yet, I am ever pulled closer
To the great dying clock
Before me

Seconds chipping away
Hours sailing beyond
The present day
A great mystery lingers
Floating in the atmosphere
When will the world cease to turn?
The moments refuse to burn?
The majestic clock disappear?
All my chances vanquished
To turn my life around
Never another day
To shed light into a dying soul
Whisper words of the One who invented time
As the clock ticks onward
Refusing to stop
Haunting my dreams

  1. That was wonderful!!! Beautiful, thought provoking images, I love the darkness, because to me, time can be a very dark subject- excellent use of this picture, You saw so much depth in it... Kudos to you! :-D
