Careening through the outer castle yard, I try to escape from the chains inexorably clutching my vehicle. I try as hard as I can, putting my foot to the gas and moving onward, but the chains, those annoying chains, will not let me go! Hard as it seems to understand, I've been here for 2 days. I was at home, originally, when I got this car. Well, truthfully, it was more like the car appeared that day. I opened my front door to see a splendid sports car of-a-sort in my driveway. Who'd have thought? Obviously the dote who left it there.
Here I am, though. Completely helpless. I noticed when I had woken up here, that there were cameras lining the area, watching my every move carefully. The song "Electric Eye" by Judas Priest was playing over and over in my head, for I was being either protected or I was being questioned from a safe distance about maybe how fast I react to things, situations.
Now I have no idea of what is in store for me, That's not a good feeling, that emotion where your hope drops to negative thinking. I'm beginning to utilize that, although it's not doing anything wonderful for my heart. Hmmm. I could try to gas this up again, that's one thing whoever had taken me had done. They left me with a seemingly endless supply of gas-cans on the side of my vehicle.
Getting out, I fill up my car, then get back inside. This time I put everything I have into it, smoke coming from my wheels, creaking sounds piercing the air. A loud cracking, wrenching effect happens then. A chain flies out of the ground. Yes! One down! Suddenly, chains are flying out of their spots where they'd been previously firmly planted, now flinging about, then dropping down. I feel a surge of exhilaration in my chest as I do this! Yes! I'm doing it! Placing my hands firmly on the wheel, I press on, confident that whatever happens to me next can never harm me. I am invincible. Now, where do I go from here?
I really liked the approach. You told us, where you were, and then how you got there, rather than the other way around. I would like to make a suggestion, and that is to read what you've written out loud to a friend. Some of this was a bit tricky to follow, and confusing at times. I think getting someone else's in-put would be beneficial to you. But over all, I liked how you caught my attention. Well done.
